speaking + workshops

After decades of personal experience being a high-functioning grey-area drinker, I intimately understand the impact that alcohol can have on energy, confidence, self-esteem and how those can show up in the workplace.

My mission is to empower people-centred organizations to address grey-area drinking head on with compassion and understanding, and to provide a supportive environment for employees. I believe that by proactively addressing this often overlooked issue, companies can not only enhance employee well-being but also improve overall performance and morale.

Services

  • Keynote Addresses: Inspiring and informative presentations that raise awareness about grey-area drinking and its impact on the employee wellbeing. Keynotes are designed to spark conversation, challenge assumptions, and motivate positive change.

  • Workshops: Interactive workshops that dive deeper into the complexities of grey-area drinking. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the issue and actionable steps they can take to support themselves and their colleagues.

  • Coaching and Support: Personalized coaching and support services for employees, members or clients who are struggling with grey-area drinking. Recovery coaching focuses on providing compassionate guidance, accountability, and encouragement to help individuals make positive changes in their lives.

words from past clients

  • "She has changed my life by helping me accept the duality of my circumstances."

I was alive in September 2022, but I was not living - I was merely existing day to day as a high functioning mother, wife and accountant. I didn’t know who I was. I was drinking daily and knew something needed to change but also knew I couldn’t do it alone.

When I started working with Kristy, this is when my life really started changing and I finally began living. In her coaching, I was witnessed, supported and guided. I was able to release shame and guilt that I held onto for years…while being met with love and compassion.

I am no longer existing - I am growing and thriving. And it all started working with Kristy. She played an instrumental role in helping me save myself. I love myself and I’m excited for what lies ahead. I never imagined that I’d be able to say that and believe it.

  • "Working with Kristy has been one of the best decisions I'd made!"

Working with Kristy has been one of the BEST decisions I've made! Her warm and compassionate nature was just what I needed as I changed my relationship with alcohol. I loved the Voxer (voice messaging) support, reinforcing the healing work in our weekly sessions. Kristy is wise, intuitive, and non-judgemental, a trusted guide on the path to wholeness, self-love, and sobriety.

I highly recommend working with her.

  • "I feel like I grew a lot across this process, even more so than years of therapy and other coaching."

It was such an absolute pleasure working with Kristy. She has an incredibly calming presence and so much empathy. Going through this process, it was so helpful to have that demeanor. She was so patient and responsive to all of my questions and messages. I just felt like she was truly focused on me. I feel like I grew a lot across this process, even more so than years of therapy and other coaching. I have changed and taken better control of my life and understood how to put myself first. I took some big and scary steps with her support. And I've undoubtedly improved my relationships and taken accountability for my role in conflicts.”
