The mother wound. What exactly is it? Do I have one? What does it mean for my relationship with my mom? And where do I go from here?
When I first heard the term ‘mother wound’ a lightbulb went off inside of me. I felt seen in those two little words, even though I didn’t exactly know what they meant. As I looked further into it, I felt…overwhelmed and confused. And in retrospect, that makes sense. The mother wound is a vast and complex topic. So, in this workshop we are going to demystify the mother wound and break down what it is (and isn’t) in easy to understand terms and concepts.
In the Understanding Your Mother Wound workshop, you will learn:
What exactly is a mother wound and why most women have one
What it isn’t and common misconceptions that get in the way of us healing
Ways it might be showing up in your life and keeping you in a holding pattern
How to gently and lovingly start to heal without requiring anything from your mother
A somatic experiencing exercise as a way to tend to your own wounding
Out-of-the-box ways to relate to your mother while doing this work
While this work can be heavy, it doesn’t have to be. This workshop will unlike any other workshop you’ve taken. I am combining the heavy, the light, the interactive and the integrative to create a new way of experiencing motherwound healing. The workshop will be approximately 75-90 minutes. You will also receive an exploratory workbook if you want to dive further into this material. A replay of the workshop will be provided within 48 hours of the workshop for everyone who purchases a seat, regardless of whether or not you’re able to attend live.
Working toward healing our mother wound is some of the most important work we can do for ourselves and for future generations.
Pay-What-Supports-You
In an effort to keep this work accessible while also creating a reciprocal energy exchange, I’m introducing pay-what-supports-you pricing, which has been inspired by Simone Grace Seol.
